WD Solutions was founded in 1988 by Donald Baxter, BSIS. From the beginning, WD Solutions core service was providing innovative Information Technology Solutions for fortune 500 organizations. Through the nineties, WD Solutions was focused on Desktop Computer Services Outsourcing. With Y2K around the corner most fortune 500 organizations required an outsourcing organization like WD Solutions to help them meet the Y2k requirements.
Soon after Y2k had passed most of the fortune 500 organizations found themselves with new computer equipment and new software running and the need for Desktop Services becoming a thing of the past. This required WD Solutions to re-evaluate the service industry. During this time of innovative brainstorming, the world was changed by the horrific act of terrorism on September 11, 2001. This tragedy stopped travel for many weeks and changed the way people travel. Out of this need to help travelers and the service industry came the innovation of WD Solutions to create a Technology/Information Station.This new technology would allow travelers to have access to the world via the Internet in places such as hotels, train stations and airports.
Over the last two years WD Solutions has been placing Technology Information Stations in hotel lobby's in some the most sought-out travel destinations in California. Guests and hotel employees use these stations to check events, restaurants, print driving directions, purchase tickets, and make flight reservations via the Internet. The success of the Technology Information Stations far exceeded expectations. In late 2004 WD Solutions will launch a second phase of services for the Technology Information Stations. These new services will allow various businesses in the service industry to advertise and provide information to business, vacation travelers and soon to be local residences and home owners.

Donald Baxter has been in the Computer Information and Technology Sector for many years. He has served as Senior Technology Consultant where he was responsible for supporting all Orange County California clients, as well as serving as Director of Technical Services and Service Manager with a nationwide technology service provider. Donald Baxter holds a bachelor's degree in Information Systems.
